How to Share a File or Folder in DropBox

Sharing files and folders in Dropbox simplifies collaboration and ensures everyone has access to the latest versions of shared documents.

 

1. Open the Dropbox folder in File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) and select the All files tab.
2. Select the file or folder you’d like to share.
3. Click Share.

 


4. Type the email, name, or group of the person (or people) you’d like to share with, and click to select them from the results. You can invite as many people as you’d like.

 


5. Select Can edit or Can view.
6. Add a note if you’d like, and check the checkbox if you’d like to Post this note as a comment.
7. Click Share file / Share Folder.
